After finally deciding to put content onto www.uwe-ritzmann.de, at first I occupied myself with the mother of all time drains: the question of the technology to use. TYPO3 CMS I know sufficiently well, but seems to be the nut-cracking sledgehammer.

At first I had a look at Jekyll, but it did not click with me. Arun Ravindran's Bericht made me aware of pelican, which seemed suitable. Moreover there are currently 99 themes available for pelican at pelicanthemes.com. Nevertheless, I wasn't 100% satisfied with any of them.
Hence a short period of filling around followed to design a most individual theme. Brushes up HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge but otherwise was not successful.
